Augustana University Athletics

The Augustana women's volleyball team slipped one spot to No. 22 in this week's Bison/AVCA Division II Coaches Top 25 Poll, the AVCA office announced today.

The Vikings (20-10, 12-5 NSIC) slid one spot after splitting a pair of NSIC road matches last week. Augustana swept Bemidji State but dropped a 3-1 decision to No. 17 Minnesota Duluth.

Augustana is one of five NSIC schools in the national rankings. Concordia-St. Paul is No. 1, Southwest Minnesota State is No. 8, Minnesota Duluth is No. 17 and Wayne State is No. 23.

The Vikings conclude the regular season with three home matches this week. On Tuesday, Augustana entertains Wayne State at 7 p.m. in a battle of top 25 teams. Then on Friday, the Vikings play host to Minnesota State Moorhead at 7 p.m. Augie caps the week by taking on Minnesota, Crookston on Saturday at 4 p.m. All three matches will be played at the Elmen Center.
