The Augustana women's basketball team begins the season ranked No. 21 in the WBCA Division II Top 25 Poll.
The Vikings posted a 22-9 record last season, and finished third in the North Central Conference. The team returns four starters, including seniors Amy Puthoff, Whitney Hofer, and Chelsea DeVille. Puthoff earned All-NCC honors last season.
Augustana will begin their season at home against Chadron State on November 16. The Vikings open NSIC play against the University of Mary in Bismark, N.D., on December 5.
