THIS WEEK: The Augustana baseball team (22-20, 12-13 NSIC) will be on the road to take on Upper Iowa (21-21, 15-10 NSIC) on Wednesday in a 1 p.m. doubleheader in Fayette, Iowa. The Vikings will then play Northern State in its final pair of regular season home doubleheaders this weekend. The first doubleheader is set for 2 p.m. on Saturday, with the second to follow on Sunday at noon. Both games will be played at Ronken Field.
NEXT WEEK: Augustana is currently sitting in eighth place in the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference, with the top six teams to compete in the first round of the conference tournament on May 7. The times and locations for the tournament are yet to be determined.
LAST WEEK: Augie split its doubleheader with Upper Iowa on Wednesday with a 9-0 win and a 7-6 loss. The Vikings then lost three of four games against Southwest Minnesota State in a home and home series.
