Hannah will be an instant impact player for our women's tennis program.”

Wadas is just beginning her senior season at Fossil Ridge High School in Ft. Collins, Colo. where she is a team captain and will play Flight 1 singles. As a junior, she was a regional champion at Flight 2 singles and helped lead Fossil Ridge to a second place finish in the 2008 Colorado state tennis championships. She posted a 12-3 record and was named to the 2008 Northern Conference Second Team and the Academic All-State First Team. In U.S. Tennis Association play, she is ranked 29th in the Intermountain Colorado 18 singles and 5th in doubles.

"I'm really excited that Michelle has decided to sign with Augustana," Kurtz said. "She is a talented player from a tough section (Intermountain) who possesses great footwork and excellent groundstrokes. Michelle is an up-and-comer who has yet to scratch the surface of her ability. I think she will shine when given the chance to compete and practice at this level of competition. Michelle will immediately fit into one of the top spots in our lineup"
