Augustana University Athletics

The Augustana softball team added to its all-region accolades on Thursday when it had two players named to the Louisville Slugger/NFCA Division II All-Central Region Team.

Traci Fransen, a junior infielder from Jackson, Minn., was named to the Central Region first team, while Ashley Meyer, a sophomore pitcher from Rapid City, S.D., was named to the Central Region second team. Because Fransen was selected to the Central Region first team, she is eligible to be voted on for the Louisville Slugger/NFCA Division II All-American Team.
