Nate Baumann and
Deryk Marks were selected to the 2010 Rawlings / American Baseball Coaches Association (ABCA) NCAA Division II All-American Second Team, the ABCA announced today.
Baumann, a junior outfielder from Marshall, Minn., was named NSIC Player of the Year earlier this month, while Marks, a junior infielder from Cottage Grove, Minn., was named NSIC Newcomer of the Year. Regionally, the two have been selected to the first team for both the Daktronics All-Central Region and Rawlings / ABCA All-Central Region teams. They also were selected to the Daktronics All-American second team.
Baumann and Marks were two of five NSIC selections to the Rawlings / ABCA All-American teams. Wayne State's Nick Bidroski, St. Cloud State's Jordan Smith and Minnesota State's Blake Schwartz were selected to the third team.
