Nate Baumann Garners Player of the Week Honors

Augustana junior Nate Baumann has been named Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference Player of the Week, the conference office announced today.

Baumann posted a .630 (17-for-27) batting average this week as the Vikings finished their season on a six-game winning streak. Of Baumann's 17 hits, 11 were for extra bases, including five doubles, a triple, and five home runs. Baumann drove in 16 runs in six games and crossed the plate 13 times. He also stole four bases.

Baumann is the third Viking to earn the award this season, with teammates Deryk Marks and Charlie Dubanoski also garnering the honor.
