BURNSVILLE, Minn. - Augustana senior
Eric Hieb has been named 2011-12 All-Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference first team, the league office announced Tuesday.
A native of Mitchell, S.D., Hieb tied for 94th at the Central/West Region Championship in Litchfield Park, Ariz., last week. Hieb, competing as an individual, shot a 22-over-par 238.
Hieb finished fourth at the 2012 NSIC Championship, earning NSIC All-Tournament Team honors for the second time in his career.
Hieb was also an all-conference pick in 2009-10 and 2010-11.
Charlie West, a sophomore from St. Cloud, was voted by the coaches as the NSIC Golfer of the Year. West won the 2012 league title.
Minnesota State's Geoff Klein was voted 2011-12 NSIC Coach of the Year.
