FINAL RESULTS

LOUISVILLE, Ky. - No. 21-ranked Augustana shot its lowest round of the week--a 321--to finish 10th Saturday at the NCAA Championships with a four-round score of 1,320 at the Persimmon Ridge Country Club.

Top-ranked Nova Southeastern secured its fourth-straight national title, finishing at 1,234 and beating runner-up Florida Southern by 20 strokes.  NSU's Abbey Gittings' 10-over-par 298 earned the junior the individual national crown.

Augustana's 321 on Saturday bettered Thursday's previously low round by eight strokes.  The Vikings were in 10th after all four rounds of the 12-team tournament.

Emily Kvidera posted the best finish by a Viking, placing ninth with a 22-over 310.  Kvidera had her best round on Saturday, shooting a 3-over 75.  It's the second top-10 national finish for the junior, who tied for seventh in 2009-10.

Maggie Leland, the NSIC Golfer of the Year, jumped a handful of spots with her final-round outing.  She also shot a 3-over-75 and moved from tied for 20th to tied for 13th with a 27-over 315.  Leland saw improvement in each of her four rounds (89-79-76-75).

A 35-over 323 by Allie Ostrander earned her a tie for 27th.  Ostrander came in at 8-over 80 on Saturday, which matched her low round from Friday.

Jennifer Benoy took 68th, and Kelsey Bortnem tied for 69th.  Benoy finished with a 87-over 375, while Bortnem carded a 97-over 385.  Bortnem saved her best round for last and shot a 19-over 91 on Saturday.

Augustana's 10th-place performance is the fourth-overall and third-straight top-10 national finish in program history.  The Vikings lose just one senior in Molly Leland.
