Storylines and history
• The Vikings stay home to play a mid-week doubleheader against Upper Iowa on Tuesday in Sioux Falls.
• Augustana will play the doubleheader at Karras Park Home of Ronken Field beginning at 1:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
• The Vikings are taking a five-game winning streak into the matchup with the Peacocks.
• This will be the 11th and 12th meetings in the all-time series.
• Augustana holds a 8-2 lead in the all-time series.
• The Vikings have won the past six meetings against Upper Iowa.
• The Peacocks last won on Apr. 29, 2009 in Fayette, Iowa with a 16-6 victory in game two of a doubleheader.

Vikings go 5-0 and get series sweeps against Sioux Falls and Minnesota Duluth
• Augustana went 5-0 over the past week against Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference opponents.
• The Vikings started the week off with a two-game sweep of rival Sioux Falls on Wednesday at Harmodon Park.
• Augustana took game one 14-2 in seven innings against the Cougars.
Brian Duxbury had a career night, going 2 for 2 with four RBI and three runs scored.
• Duxbury's four RBI and three runs scored both were career highs.
• Duxbury also hit his third homerun on the year with a three-run shot to left field in the top of the sixth inning to make it 14-2 for the Vikings.
Jacob James had his best outing at the plate so far in the season with a 3-for-4 performance.
• James' three hits, three RBI, and two runs scored were all season highs for the freshman left fielder.
Kye Winter (5-0) remained unbeaten on the year in the win. Winter tossed five innings, giving up two runs on five hits.
• Winter also struck out five batters in the victory.
• Winter also had three hits in the six spot in the lineup.
• Augustana completed the sweep with a 3-2 win in game two.
Tony Viger found his swing in game two, going 3 for 4 with an RBI.
Jack Goihl went 2 for 4 with a run scored at the plate for the Vikings.
Brendan Koistinen came up with the play of the game, with a two-run shot over right center field to make it 2-0 Augustana.
• It was Koistinen's first homerun on the season.
Ryan Hamilton got the win in relief to up his record to 2-1 on the year.
• Hamilton came into to pitch the final four innings and threw a gem: 4.0 innings pitched, no runs on no hits with six strikeouts and no walks.
• The Vikings took game one in a doubleheader on Saturday against Minnesota Duluth 6-2.
Tyson Gau (5-2) got his fifth win of the year with the complete game victory.
• Gau went all seven innings, allowing just two runs on 10 hits but fanning three Bulldogs in the game.
Alex Fink turned in a great performance in the batter's box by going 3 for 4 with three RBI.
•  Viger chipped in with a 2-for-4 day with two RBI. The Sioux Falls, S.D. native belted his NSIC-leading 18th double in the win.
Marcus O'Neill and James each scored two runs in the win.
• Augustana got a season-high 18 hits in game two of the twin bill, defeating UMD 15-3 in seven innings.
•  Six Vikings had multiple hits in the game (Jake Petersen, Viger, Fink, Winter, Duxbury, and James).
• Winter had a season-high three hits and five RBI in the win.
•  Viger got his 19th double of the year.
•  Fink went 2 for 3 at the plate with three RBI.
• Petersen scored two runs on two hits.
Bennett Johnson (4-2) got the win, going five innings and giving up three runs on four hits.
• Augustana got the three-game sweep on Sunday with an 11-3 win in seven innings.
•  The Vikings had 12 hits in the game.
•  Goihl had a monster outing at the plate, going 3 for 4 with three RBI and two runs scored.
•  Viger had a three-hit game with a 3-for-5 day at the plate.
•  Viger also had one RBI and two runs scored.
•  Petersen pushed his hitting streak to 16 games with a two-RBI single to right field in the top of the seventh inning.
Michael Letkewicz (5-1) got the win with a strong day on the mound.
• Letkewicz went five innings on the hill, giving up one run on two hits.
• Letkewicz struck out 10 in the victory, one off his season high.
• It was the second game this year the sophomore from Waterloo, Iowa has had at least 10 strikeouts in a game.
•  Game two was canceled due to high winds and dropping temperatures.

• Augustana is hitting .343 on the year, second in the NSIC.

• Winter is the top Augustana pitcher with a 2.80 ERA (12th in the NSIC) and a 5-0 record
• Right behind Winter, Gau and Letkewicz are 13th and 14th in the NSIC with 2.85 and 2.89 ERAs, respectively.
• Letkewicz is tied for the league lead with 62 strikeouts on the season and the right-handed sophomore is second in opposing batting average with a .200 mark.
• Quame is second in the NSIC with 15 appearances and third in saves at five.
• Talk about a hitter's lineup: The Vikings' Viger (.414, fifth), Goihl (.405, eighth), O'Neill (.382, 12th), Fink (.379, 14th), and Petersen (.374, 17th) all rank in the top 20 in the NSIC in batting average.

• Huber recorded his 184th win with the Vikings, breaking a tie he held with Scott Timmer for most wins in school history.
•  Augustana's 6-2 win in game one a doubleheader against Minnesota Duluth gave Huber the record.
•  Huber is seeking to become the first coach in Augustana baseball history with 200 wins.
