SIOUX FALLS, S.D. – Augustana baseball will begin their midweek games on Tuesday. The Vikings will host NSIC foe Upper Iowa on March 28 at 1:30 p.m. and 3:30 p.m. Following the conclusion of game two the Vikings will host their annual "Under the Lights" free baseball clinic.
 
Under the Lights Baseball Clinic
The Augustana Baseball Program will be putting on a free clinic to all kids 12 & under. Come join the Augustana Baseball players and coaches as they teach fielding, hitting, pitching, and base running under the lights at Karras Park Home of Ronken Field. The camp will follow Augustana's home game vs. Upper Iowa on Tuesday, March 28th at 6 p.m. The Vikings will play a doubleheader starting at 1:30 p.m. with the camp to follow.

The clinic, and the doubleheader, were originally scheduled for Wednesday, March 29 but impending weather moved the games and free clinic up a day.

Augustana has dominated the series against the Upper Iowa. The Vikings are 17-3 all-time against the Peacocks. Last season the Vikings took 3-of4 against Upper Iowa. Their game three loss ended the Vikings 14-game win streak. When the game is played in Sioux Falls Augustana is 8-2.
