SIOUX FALLS – Augustana All-American offensive lineman Sam Lee earned a pair of NFL minicamp invitations on Sunday, getting asked to attend camps from both the Minnesota Vikings and the Los Angeles Rams.
 
"I'm very excited and grateful just to get a chance to be able to tryout with both of these teams," Lee said upon hearing the news. "Especially growing up in Minnesota, it's very exciting to get a chance with the Vikings, and then an explosive team like the Rams that will be very good for a long time now. I just plan on working as hard as I can on and off the field for the few days I'm there, and hopefully the teams will see something they like. It's a dream come true just to get an opportunity to be able to try out and work for a shot at the NFL."
 
Lee's first chance comes on May 3-6, when he attends the Vikings minicamp at their new facility in Eagan, Minn. A week later, he heads to Los Angeles for the Rams camp, which lasts from May 10-13.
 
Among Lee's many accomplishments at Augustana, the Blue Earth, Minn., native earned D2Football.com All-American and AFCA Second Team All-American honors following his senior season in 2017, when he started all 11 games on the offensive line, anchoring a Vikings offense that posted 1,674 rushing yards and 2,069 yards through the air.
