2019-20 (Senior):
Indoor: Earned USTFCCCA All-America honors in the pentathlon and 60 meter hurdles... National Qualifier in the pentathlon and 60 meter hurdles… Earned USTFCCCA All-Central Region honors in the pentathlon and 60 meter hurdles…NSIC Preseason Field Athlete of the Year… Won the pentathlon at the Mark Schuck Open on Feb. 1 with 3,638 points… Placed second in the pentathlon to earn All-NSIC honors at the NSIC Championships with the seventh best mark in the country of 3,682 points… Ran a season best 8.63 in the 60 meter hurdles at the SDSU Holiday Invite on Dec. 6 for the 13th best mark in the country… Earned first-place finishes in the 60 meter hurdles at the NSIC Indoor Challenge and NSIC Championships (earning All-NSIC honors) with times of 8.79 and 8.74, respectively… Earned a spot on the CoSIDA Academic All-District First Team... Earned a spot on the NSIC All-Academic Team of Excellence.

Indoor: Academic All NSIC… Won the National Championship in the Pentathlon with a school record 3,915 points… Ran a personal best 800m (2:22.73) to win the national championship in the pentathlon on Mar. 9… First Team All American… NSIC Indoor Field Athlete of the Year… Placed first in the pentathlon (3,712) at the NSIC Championships on Feb 23… Placed first in the long jump (5.73m) at the NSIC Indoor Championships… Placed fourth (8.72) in the 60m hurdles at the NSIC Indoor Championships… Earned USTFCCCA All Region honors for the pentathlon… Was named NSIC Preseason Indoor Field Athlete of the Year.
Outdoor: Academic All NSIC… Earned 2019 Google Cloud Academic All District First Team honors… Earned All American honors with her second place finish in the heptathlon with a school record point total of 5,260 at the NCAA Outdoor Championships on May 25 in Kingsville, Texas… Qualified for nationals in the heptathlon with the ninth best point total in the country… Named NSIC Women’s Field Athlete of the Year after her first place performance in the heptathlon (4,913 points) at the NSIC Outdoor Championships on May 11… Earned USTFCCCA All-Region Honors in the heptathlon… Earned a fifth place finish (5.71m) in the long jump at the NSIC Outdoor Championships on May 11… Named Women’s NSIC Field Athlete of the Week for the weeks of April 30 and April 23… Was named the Preseason NSIC Women’s Field Athlete of the Year for the outdoor season.

Earned first team All-American honors in the pentathlon and the long jump … repeated as the NSIC pentathlon champion … earned All-Central Region honors in the pentathlon and the long jump … earned All-NSIC honors in the long jump … set a school record in the long jump with a mark of 5.85m and took first at the MSU Alumni Open (Jan. 7) … tallied a personal best in the pentathlon with 3,863 points at the NCAA Championships (March 10) … earned NSIC Field Athlete of the Week twice (Jan. 10 and 31) … named NSIC Preseason Field Athlete to Watch for Augustana.
Outdoor: Took home All-American honors in the heptathlon with a season-high 5,251 points and a fourth place finish at the NCAA Championships (May 26) ... also qualified for nationals in the long jump and finished in 13th at the NCAA Championships (May 25) ... broke the school record in the long jump with a jump of 6.12m at the Butler/Greeno Dual (April 7) ... won the heptathlon at the NSIC Mutli-Events (May 3) ... earned All-NSIC and All-Region honors in the heptathlon and the long jump ... set a personal best in the 100-meter hurdles with a time of 14.13 at the NSIC Championships (May 12) ... recorded a personal best javelin throw at the NCAA Championships (May 26) with a toss of 35.41m.

2015-16 (Freshman):
Indoor:
Was named NSIC Indoor Track and Field Newcomer of the Year … earned second team All-American honors in the women's pentathlon for a ninth place finish … earned All-Region honors in the pentathlon and the long jump … took home first in the pentathlon and the long jump at the NSIC Championship (Feb. 27) … finished in first at the NSIC Multi Championship in the pentathlon (Feb. 15).
Outdoor: Was name NSIC Outdoor Track and Field Newcomer of the Year … earned first team All-America honors in the heptathlon with a sixth-place finish … earned second team All-America honors in the long jump with an 11th place finish … earned All-Region honors in the long jump … broke the school record in the long jump with a mark of 5.91 meters at the USF Invitational (April 10) … won the long jump at the NSIC Championship (May 14) … finished in second in the heptathlon at the NSIC Championship … took second at the NSIC Multi Championship in the heptathlon (May 2).

High School: Montez Brown graduated from Ellesmere Port Catholic High School in 2014.

Personal: Montez Brown was born on May 22, 1996 in Orlando, Florida, to parents Teresa and Dave. She has one sibling, Elijah, and enjoys coloring and yoga. She plans to major in physical education and minor in special education while at Augustana. One of her career goals is to become a collegiate track and field coach.
