Augustana University Athletics

Byhre contributed to a pair of Augustana teams that won championships in two conferences. In 1941, he was an all-conference end and center on the Vikings' South Dakota Intercollegiate Conference title team. He also lettered with the 1942 North Central Conference championship team. Byhre served as president of the "A Club" his senior year.
