Glenn Sellevold, a 1960 graduate of Augustana, was an outstanding lineman for the Vikings in the late 1950s.

He played on Augustana's NCC championship team in 1959 and received all-conference honors as guard.

He coached high school football at Canby, Minn.; Clark, S.D.; Brandon Valley in Brandon, S.D.; Mitchell, S.D.; and Washington High School in Sioux Falls, S.D.

Glenn was named South Dakota High School Coach of the Year and Augustana Alumni Coach of the Year in 1979. His 1967 Clark team was undefeated and conference champions. At Brandon Valley, he won five Big Eight Conference titles, and his Mitchell teams were conference champs in 1984 and 1986. He has one state title and two runner-up finishes to his credit.

A math major at Augustana, Sellevold received his masters degree in administration from Northern State College in 1968.
