Ralph Miller was an offensive lineman on the Augustana football team from 1937 to 1940. During that time, he and his teammates compiled a record of 25-6-1, and earned conference titles in 1937 and 1939.
He also exhibited his athletic versatility by scoring points for the Augustana track team in both the shot put and two-mile run in 1938. Ralph was also a member of the "A" Club, Websterian Literary Society and International Relations Club.
Ralph served 15 years on the Augustana Alumni Council and is a member of the Fellows and Booster Club.
He served in the United States Navy during World War II, and served on the staff of the Director of Naval Intelligence at the Pentagon during the Korean Conflict. He retired from the Navy with the rank of commander.
