Augustana University Athletics

Ormseth starred in track and cross country all four years that he attended Augustana. He was cross country captain for two years (1931 and 1932) and also led the track team for two years (1932 and 1933). He was an outstanding quarter and half miler and for a time held the schools record for the mile and a member of record shattering mile and two mile relay teams.
