Playing two sports at Augustana, Steen, a 1997 graduate, excelled at both basketball and baseball. On the hardwood, Steen made 180 3-point field goals to rank second all-time at Augustana while making 94 starts. On the diamond, he left Augustana as the all-time wins leader with 19. In 1994, he earned All-North Central Conference accolades.
