Megan Doyle, a junior guard from Alexandria, S.D., had one of the best weekends of her career in leading Augie to wins over Upper Iowa and Winona State. In a 104-49 victory over the Peacocks, Doyle recorded her third double-double on the season, scoring 18 points and dishing out 10 assists. She also collected seven steals (six of which were in the first half) six rebounds, and two blocks.
Against Winona State, Doyle scored 23 points on 10 of 16 shooting (62.5 percent). She was also 3 of 5 from behind the arc. She had another seven assists and no turnovers while collecting five more rebounds, two steals and a block.
For the weekend she averaged 20.5 points and 5.5 rebounds per game. She was 61.5 percent (16 of 26) from the field and 60 percent (6 of 10) from 3-point range. She was also 3 of 4 on free throws. Doyle also averaged 8.5 assists and 1 turnover per game for an 8.5 assist to turnover ratio. She collected 4.5 steals and 1.5 blocked shots.
As a result of her performance, Doyle was named the NSIC Player of the Week
