The junior from Storm Lake, Iowa, finished seventh in a field of 143 Division I runners at the Roy Griak Invitational Saturday in St. Paul. Yak covered the 8,000-meter course in 24:55.8 to lead the Vikings to eighth-place in the 15-team field. The Vikings were entered the Gold Division I race.
