Runa Falch captured the NCAA Central Region individual title this past weekend which helped the Vikings to their first women's cross country region title in program history.  Falch's time of 20:39 on the 6k course picked up her first individual title of the year and she also garnered All-Central Region honors with her victory.  The junior was also recently selected as the Central Region Athlete of the Year by the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association.  Falch will run in the NCAA Championships with the rest of the Vikings on Nov. 17 looking to defend their team national championship from last season.
