#3 Shaunteva Ashley (G, 5-8, So., Sioux Falls, S.D. / Roosevelt H.S.) dropped 34 points, 14 rebounds, and 10 assists to lead the Vikings to two victories and kept them perfect at 9-0 overall, 5-0 in NSIC action. In Augustana’s tight win at Winona State on Friday, Ashley scored 16 points on 5-9 shooting and sank six of her seven free throws. The sophomore also grabbed nine rebounds and dished out two assists in a team-high 35 minutes. In the Viking’s defeat of Upper Iowa, Ashley scored 14 of her 18 points in the first half connecting on four of her seven shots, including two three-point attempts and hit all four free throws. Ashley finished the game with 18 points, remaining perfect from the line at 6-6, and also handed out eight assists.
