Jordan Slusser (Mid-Distance, Sr., Jamestown, N.D./ Jamestown HS) took home two titles at the NDSU Bison Open. In his first event, Slusser led a one-two finish for the Vikings with a 4:19.36 time in the one-mile run. Slusser finished the 1,000-meter run in 2:35.68, two seconds ahead of the second-place finisher for his second title of the day. The Jamestown, N.D. native narrowly missed the track record by less that half a second and finished just one second shy of his personal best on an indoor track.
