#12 Holly Hafemeyer (MB, 6-3, Sr., Faribault, Minn./Bethlehem Academy) was named the SpringHill Suites Invitational Most Outstanding Player after finishing the season-opening tournament with 55 kills and a .393 attack percentage. The senior also tallied a match-high 20 kills in the Vikings' four-set win over Alaska Anchorage to finish as the only team with an undefeated record. Hafemeyer opened the season with a 17-kill, .444-attack percentage performance and hit at least nine kills with a .350 attack percentage in all four matches. The All-NSIC middle blocker also passed the 800-kill milestone for her carer and is now just 197 shy of tallying 1,000 kills as a Viking.
