#4 Tyson Gau (RHP, 6-1, 190, Sr., Alexandria, S.D. / Hanson HS) made history by becoming the all-time wins leader in Augustana history after pickup two wins this past week. Gau tied the old record after recording his second win of the year -20th of his career- in game one against Winona State on Wednesday. Gau went four innings, giving up just one run on four hits while striking out three. The Alexandria, S.D. natives history-making moment came on Sunday in game one of the doubleheader against Minnesota Crookston. Gau recorded a three-hit complete game shutout victory to give him three wins on the year and career win number 21, a new school record. The right-hander pitched all seven innings giving up just three hits while notching a season-high seven strikeouts.
