Augustana senior pitcher/utility player Jenelle Trautmann, a native of Hastings, Minn., batted .452 with 14 hits in 31 at-bats, including two doubles and five home runs in 12 games last week. She drove in 15 runs and compiled a 1.000 slugging percentage and a .575 on-base percentage to go with seven walks while being hit by a pitch twice. Trautmann had a hit in 9 of the 12 games, including four multiple hit games. She also had multiple RBIs in four of the 12 games. She has hit 12 home runs on the season which puts her at 67 for her career, ranking third all-time in NCAA Division II history. Trautmann also posted a 7-1 record in the circle, making nine appearances and seven starts, compiling a 2.79 ERA. She struck out 61 batters in 42.2 innings of work and allowed just seven extra-base hits. Trautmann struck out five or more batters in seven of her nine appearances, including a season-high 10 against Pittsburg State on March 20.
