Brittany Cech is a junior on the nationally ranked, Augustana volleyball team. Cech resides in Omaha, Neb. where she attended Elkhorn South High School. Cech put her name in the Augustana record books this past week when she notched a career high 35 digs against No. 6 Wayne State on Tuesday Oct. 20. Cech's 35 digs places her 18th nationally and No. 1 in the Northern Sun Conference for the most digs in a four-set match. Cech also moves into second on the Augustana all-time list for digs in a four-set match. To go along with her 35 digs on Tuesday, she posted 21 oin Friday against Minot State and had 62 in 11 sets this past week. Cech also posted back-to-back double doubles on Tuesday and Friday with 16 kills (ties career high) and 35 digs against Wayne State and 12 kills and 21 digs vs. Minot State. This was Cech's second and third double-double of the season.
