Taylor Jackson went 2-0 on the weekend at No. 2 singles in wins against Winona State and Upper Iowa to improve to 10-5 on the year and 8-0 in NSIC play. Jackson went 2-0 at No. 2 doubles with partner Meredith Lawrence over the weekend, improving to 6-4 as a pair. Jackson defeated Justine Daane of Winona State, 6-1, 6-0 and won against Upper Iowa’s Shaknaza, Zhanatova, 6-4, 7-6 (7-1), in singles play. Jackson and Lawrence outlasted Winona State’s pair of Kendra Kappes and Rachel Gantz, 9-8 (7-3) and defeated Upper Iowa’s duo of Kelly Jachymowski and Shaknaza, Zhanatova, 8-2. Jackson also helped the Vikings clinch at least a share of the NSIC regular season title and up their regular match winning streak to 86 games.
