True Freshman Callie DeWitt made the most of her collegiate debut . In DeWitt's first collegiate race, she broke the school record in the 60-meter preliminaries with a time of 7.75. The previous school record was 7.78 by Bobbi Jo Buyck (2007). DeWitt went on to take fifth in the 60-meter finals. DeWitt also went on to finish fourth in the 200-meters and fourth in the long jump.
