True freshman Keaten Schorr, wrestled unattached at 149 pounds, led the way for the Augustana wrestling team at the Warrior-Viking Open in Fremont, Neb. on Saturday. Schorr was the lone Viking to take first, but Augustana finished with 11 placers on the day. Schorr's path to first started with a pin over Paul Longshore of Midland, followed up by a major decision over teammate Noah North. In the semis, Schorr earned a victory when Nebraska-Kearney's Keith Surber was disqualified. In the finals, Schorr outlasted Jack Wilson by a 4-3 decision to earn the first place finish.
