Athletic Training Facilities

The Augustana College athletics department takes pride in the health and well-being of its student-athletes and employs an experienced sports medicine staff. Head athletic trainer Brian Gerry ensures his department is dedicated to the prevention, evaluation, treatment, and proper rehabilitation of all injuries for student-athletes at Augustana.

Located in the Elmen Center across from the locker rooms, the athletic training room contains numerous pieces of athletic training and rehabilitation equipment. The room contains eight full-sized and four half-sized athletic training tables with five electrical stim/ultrasound machines, and two compression therapy units accompanying them. Also in the athletic training room are three whirlpools, a large taping station that can accommodate six athletes, and all the necessary rehab tools such as exercise bands, weights, medicine balls, along with several other pieces of rehabilitation equipment.
