After a 39-20 win over Southwest Minnesota State last weekend at home, the Augustana football moves on to play NSIC opponent Upper Iowa.
THIS WEEK: Augustana (5-2, 5-1 NSIC) will go on the road this week as the Vikings travel to Fayette, Iowa, to face Upper Iowa University (1-6, 1-5 NSIC). Kickoff is set for 1 p.m. at Eischeid Stadium. The Vikings, who are in first place in the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference Southern Division (3-0) and tied for second in the NSIC Overall standings, are looking for their fourth-straight win. Meanwhile, Upper Iowa will be attempting to snap a four-game losing streak. The Peacocks are tied for sixth in the NSIC South (0-3) and tied for 10th in the NSIC Overall standings.
THE SERIES: Augustana leads the overall series by a 1-0 count. The only other time the Vikings have faced the Peacocks came in 2005 when Augustana handed Upper Iowa a 54-6 defeat in Fayette.
STREAKING: Augustana's three-game winning streak is its longest winning streak since the Vikings won six straight games spanning the 2005 and 2006 seasons.

Jeff Fylling will call all of the action, while John Schultz, a former All-NCC quarterback with the Vikings, provides color commentary. The broadcast begins with a pre-game show 30 minutes prior to kickoff.

AUGUSTANA SPORTSCENE: Augustana Sportscene is in its fifth season on UTV cable channel 10 in Sioux Falls. The 30-minute weekly television show airs Saturdays at noon. Augustana Sportscene is hosted by Viking director of athletics Bill Gross.
