The Augustana women's volleyball team rallied from a 2-1 deficit to edge Nebraska-Omaha in a 5-set thriller Wednesday night in Omaha, Neb. The team will now travel home for two NSIC matches Friday and Saturday.
THIS WEEKEND: The Vikings will return home for a pair of conference matches this weekend. Augustana takes on Upper Iowa (2-8, 11-10 NSIC) on Friday at 7 p.m. On Saturday, the Vikings will play a 4 p.m. match against Winona State (5-5, 7-12 NSIC). Both matches will be at the Elmen Center.
WEDNESDAY: Augie (16-6,11-5 NSIC) beat Nebraska-Omaha in 5 games on Wednesday at Sapp Fieldhouse in Omana, Nebraska. Set scores were 20-25, 26-24, 20-25, 25-20, 18-16. This marks the first time that Augustana has beat UNO on the road since 2001.
WEBCAST INFORMATION: All of Augustana's conference volleyball matches this season will be webcast on the internet as part of the NSIC's television agreement with Penn Atlantic TV. Fans wanting to follow the action can go to the following link:

AUGUSTANA SPORTSCENE: Augustana Sportscene is in its fifth season on UTV cable channel 10 in Sioux Falls. The 30-minute weekly television show airs Saturdays at noon. Augustana Sportscene is hosted by Augustana director of athletics Bill Gross.
