THIS WEEK: The Augustana football team (6-2, 5-1 NSIC) puts its four-game winning streak on the line on Saturday when the Vikings play host to Wayne State (6-2, 5-2 NSIC), which is riding a four-game winning streak of its own. Kickoff is set for 1 p.m. at Howard Wood Field. A Viking win would give them at least a share of the NSIC South Division title with one divisional game remaining. Augie plays at Winona State next week.
FINAL GAME AT HOWARD WOOD FIELD: Saturday's game is Augustana's final game at Howard Wood Field. After 51 years of calling Howard Wood Field home, the Vikings will begin play in Kirkeby-Over Stadium next season.
SENIOR DAY: Saturday's game is the final home game for 13 seniors. The group includes Drew Anderson, Brian Baumgartner, Mark Booth, Cory Brandts, Ben Cunningham, Jason Donnelly, Ken Gansmann, Ryan Grossman, Jeremy Huber, Barrett Kaufman, Matt Lien, Ryan Rank and Luke Sterbick.
THE SERIES: Augustana and Wayne State meet for the 12th time with Augustana holding an 8-3-1 advantage. However, the Vikings and Wildcats have not met since the 1987 season when Augustana claimed a 27-14 win in Sioux Falls. The Vikings have won seven straight meetings.
RADIO: All Viking football games can be heard on KIKN Radio (FM-100.5). The game can also be heard on the internet at: www.kikn.com. Veteran broadcaster Jeff Fylling will call all of the action, while John Schultz, a former All-NCC quarterback with the Vikings, provides color commentary. The broadcast begins with a pre-game show 30 minutes prior to kickoff.
WEBCAST INFORMATION: All of Augustana's football games this season will be webcast on the internet as part of the NSIC's television agreement with Penn Atlantic TV. This season there will be no charge to watch the games but fans will need to set up an account with Penn Atlantic.

AUGUSTANA SPORTSCENE: Augustana Sportscene is in its fifth season on UTV cable channel 10 in Sioux Falls. The 30-minute weekly television show airs Saturdays at noon. Augustana Sportscene is hosted by Viking director of athletics Bill Gross.
