THIS WEEK: The Augustana football team (4-2, 4-1 NSIC) remains at home this week as the Vikings entertain the Southwest Minnesota State University Saturday (3-3, 3-2 NSIC). Kickoff is set for 1 p.m. at Howard Wood Field. The Vikings, who are in first place in the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference Southern Division, are looking for their third-straight win. Meanwhile, SMSU will try to gain at least a share of the South Division lead with a win. The Mustangs are currently 2-1 in the division, while Augustana is 2-0.
SEA OF BLUE: The Augustana athletic department has declared Saturday's game as “The Sea of Blue. All Augustana fans are asked to wear blue to Saturday's game.
THE SERIES: Augustana holds a 10-2 series advantage over Southwest Minnesota State. After dropping the first 2 games in the series, the Vikings have put together a 10-game winning streak over SMSU. The last time the Vikings faced the Mustangs, Augie claimed a 45-3 win in Sioux Falls.

John Schultz, a former All-NCC quarterback with the Vikings, provides color commentary. The broadcast begins with a pre-game show 30 minutes prior to kickoff.

AUGUSTANA SPORTSCENE: Augustana Sportscene is in its fifth season on UTV cable channel 10 in Sioux Falls. The 30-minute weekly television show airs Saturdays at noon. Augustana Sportscene is hosted by Viking director of athletics
