The Augustana women's soccer team lost its fourth game of the season in a 1-0 double overtime battle with the Bemidji State Beavers at Yankton Trails Park Sunday afternoon.
With the loss, Augie now sits at 13-4-1 and 10-3 in the NSIC as the Beavers (12-7-1, 5-7-1 NSIC) scored the only goal of the game at the 108:29 mark in the second overtime.
Just as the game was leaning towards ending in a tie, Bemidji State's Jamie Ford took a pass from Ashlee Ellefsen and angled the ball in the top right corner of the net for her 11th goal of the season. The goal was the only shot taken by the Beavers in both overtime periods.

Lisa Jarovski made six saves in net for Augustana, as she dropped her third game of the season and now sits at 10-3.
The Vikings put up 18 shots on goal and 26 total shots in the game while Bemidji's freshman Abby Kjonaas earned her second win of the season after coming stepping in goal in the second half and both overtimes making 11 saves.
By collecting their third loss of the season, the Vikings moved into third place in the NSIC and will host its first conference playoff game in school history against Northern State (10-7-3, 6-4-3 NSIC) at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday at Yankton Trails Park.
The Vikings and Northern State met earlier in the season as Augie was able to win the game 2-1 at home.
