Augustana clamped down defensively, holding the Trojans scoreless for the next 6 minutes. Augie capitalized at the offensive end of the court by scoring 15 unanswered points to increase its lead to 34-15 with just under 4 minutes to play in the half. Schilling and Foster triggered the rally by knocking down 3-pointers on successive possessions to start the outburst.
