It was deja vu all over again.
For the second day in a row, the Augustana women's soccer team shut out its opponent and scored its only goal on a header from Jill Goodrich off a corner kick from Stephanie Goos to beat Concordia-St. Paul 1-0 in a double overtime game Sunday in St. Paul, Minn.
With its fifth-straight win, Augie (5-1-1) sets a new school record for most shutouts in a row and now sits alone as the only team in Augie history with five shutouts in a single season.
The only goal of the game came with only 13 second left in the second overtime, when Goos sent the corner kick in front of the Concordia net where Goodrich headed it past the Golden Bears (5-4-0)goalkeeper for the game winner.
It was the second goal of the weekend and season for Goodrich, as Goos recorded her team-leading fourth assist of the season.
