The Augustana men's basketball team (3-0) will try to continue its strong start to the 2009-10 season with a pair of non-conference games at the NSIC Holiday Hoopsfest, scheduled for Saturday, November 28, and Sunday, November 29, in Sioux Falls. The Hoopsfest consists of men's and women's teams from eight NSIC?schools with games scheduled to be played at the Sioux Falls Arena and the Elmen Center. Augustana will face Concordia-St. Paul on Saturday and No. 9 St. Cloud State on Sunday. Both games will tip off at 8 p.m. at the Sioux Falls Arena.
TICKETS: Tickets for the NSIC?Holiday Hoopsfest games at the Sioux Falls Arena are $20 for courtside seats. Those tickets must be purchased from the Sioux Falls Sports Authority. Reserved seats cost $12.50. General admission tickets cost $10 for adults and $5 for students. Tickets for games at the Arena are available at the Arena Box Office and at all Ticketmaster outlets. Fans may also order tickets on-line at Ticketmaster.com.
All tickets for games at the Elmen Center are general admission. Adult tickets cost $10, while student tickets cost $5.
All ticket prices are for each session, consisting of 2 games. Each venue will be cleared after the first session.
TELEVISION: All games at the Sioux Falls Arena will be televised live by Midcontinent Communications out of Sioux Falls. Start times for the first game of each session will be 5 minutes past the hour. Those games are available throughout the states of South Dakota and North Dakota. In addition, during halftimes and in between games at the Arena, Midcontinent Communications will provide live in-game cut-ins from the Elmen Center.
RADIO: All Viking men's basketball games can be heard on KIKN (FM-100.5). The game can also be heard on the internet at: www.kikn.com. Veteran broadcaster Jeff Fylling will call all of the action. The broadcast begins with a pre-game show 20 minutes prior to tipoff.
WEBCAST INFORMATION: None of the games at the NSIC Holiday Hoopsfest will be video webcast on Penn Atlantic.
