The Augustana women's basketball team (13-3, 5-2 NSIC) will be back at home this weekend for two conference matchups. The Vikings will take on Southwest Minnesota State (11-5, 5-4 NSIC) at 6:05 p.m. before battling with Minnesota State (10-6, 5-4 NSIC) on Saturday at 5 p.m.
VIKINGS ON TV: Augie's game with Southwest Minnesota State on Friday will be televised on Midcontinent Channel 23.
EXTREME TEAM: Augustana Athletics would like to invite fans to enjoy a halftime show like they've never seen before. On Friday, Jan. 22, the Extreme Team will be performing at halftime of both the Viking men's and women's basketball games. The group bounces high off of trampolines, performing flips, dazzling dunks, and comedic antics set to dynamic music. This is definitely a show you don't want to miss!
WHITE OUT: Augie basketball fans are encouraged to wear white in support of the Vikings as they take on Minnesota State on Saturday.
The Vikings need your support, and now is not the time to stand out! Don't be the only one caught not wearing white and help Augustana basketball "white out" their opponent. Put on your game face and come be part of the experience!
RADIO: Viking games can be heard on Sioux Falls radio station KXRB (1000 AM). Fans outside of the Sioux Falls listening area may listen to the broadcast on the internet at www.kxrb.com. Veteran broadcaster Jeff Fylling will call all of the action. The broadcast begins with a pre-game show 10 minutes prior to tipoff.
WEBCAST INFORMATION: All of Augustana's conference games this season will be webcast on the internet as part of the NSIC's television agreement with Penn Atlantic TV. Fans wanting to follow the action can go to the following link: http://www.pennatlantic.com. This season there will be no charge to watch the games but fans will need to set up an account with Penn Atlantic.
