Jessie Huff and Maren Werth each scored their fourth-goals of the season for Augustana to charge past Concordia University, St. Paul 2-1 on the road in St. Paul, Minn.

The Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference contest against CU concludes the regular season for Augustana. The victory improves the Vikings to 8-8-2 (7-5-1 NSIC). CU finishes its regular season at 5-11-1 (4-9-0 NSIC).

With the win, the Vikings' season extends into postseason action in the NSIC Tournament.  Following all of Saturday's action, Augustana is the sixth seed and will take on No. 3-seeded Bemidji State.  The match is scheduled for Wednesday at 1 p.m. in Bemidji, Minn. 

Huff led the Vikings with three shots.

Goalkeeper Amanda Wagner contributed to the win with five saves on the day.

CU's Kari Janes opened scoring at 3:09 to kick off action early in the match.

Augustana faced a 1-0 deficit until Huff knocked the ball past CU's Rachel Skog without an assist from about 30 yards out.

Action was very even between the two teams during the first period. Augustana had five shots, while CU had six, and the goaltenders for the two teams made a pair of saves each.

Werth scored the game-winning goal for the Vikings during the second period after knocking in a header that bounced off the post to find its way past the keeper at 58:53. Stephanie Goos was credited with the assist.

Augustana finished the afternoon with eight shots, five on goal.  CU's offensive had 11 shots with six on goal.
