Freshman Emily Kvidera finished seventh at the NCAA Championships Saturday in Mesa, Ariz.

Women's Golf Finishes 10th at NCAA Championships

The Augustana women's golf team finished 10th at the NCAA National Championships in Mesa, Ariz. Freshman Emily Kvidera was the top Augie finisher, earning a seventh place finish.

The Vikings tallied a four-day team total of 1296 over 72 holes of competition. Nova Southeastern won the tournament with a team score od 1180 while Rollins finished second after carding a 1220.

Kvidera faltered a bit on the last day, shooting an 80 for the final round to give her a total of 302. 

Kate Tobin finished tied for 39th. She shot an 84 on the final day of the tournament to make her total score 319. 

Kelly Lauer finished 52nd for the tournament. She carded a 327. Jennifer Benoy was 68th while Kelli Lowry finished 71st. They scored a 353 and a 366, respectively.
