Soccer begins preparation for 2010 season

SIOUX FALLS, S.D. - Augustana head soccer coach Brandon Barkus held the first practice of the 2010 season this morning at the Soccer Complex. Today marked the start of a mostly two-practice-per-day schedule that runs until Sept. 8.

The Vikings had 28 players report to fall camp.

Last season, Augustana posted a 7-8-5 overall record and 4-5-4 mark in Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference play. The Vikings were ninth in the final conference standings.
