Aleisha Oehlerking's two goals came up short for Augustana in its game against Minnesota Duluth Sunday afternoon as the Vikings fell to the Bulldogs 5-3.
The Vikings are now 7-7-0 (4-5-0 NSIC), while UMD improves to 7-5-1 (7-3-0 NSIC).
Augustana entered into half time ahead 1-0 as
Maren Werth fired in a header at 29:59.
The Vikings had five shots in the opening period and the Bulldogs recorded four.
Amanda Wagner made two saves for Augustana as did Hanna Iaizzo for UMD.
The Bulldogs had an offensive burst in the second period, recording three-straight goals to take the lead.
Dani Potter found the back of the net first for UMD at 49:20, followed by Kelsey Gratz and Kelli Klun in the 62nd and 63rd minutes, respectfully.
In an effort for a Viking comeback, Oehlerking scored on an assist from
Jessie Huff at 63:03.
Oehlerking knotted the score at 3-3 in the 84th minute.
When it looked as if action could be headed into overtime, UMD took the lead at 89:00 on a penalty kick by Reegan Lloyd.
Just 15 seconds later Maureen Stormount took a pass from Megan Helberg to record UMD's final goal.

Jessie Huff and
Ellie Westemeyer all had two shots to lead the team.
Augustana was outshot 19-4 in the second period. Wagner had four stops in the final period, while
Ashley Limmer came into action for Augustana in the 71st minute and recorded three saves.
Iaizzo finished the game with two saves for UMD.
The Vikings look to rebound on Saturday at home against Minnesota State Moorhead at 11 a.m. Augustana will face Minnesota, Crookston at 1 p.m. on Sunday.
