SIOUX FALLS, S.D. - Augustana scored a season-high five goals en route to a 5-0 win over Minnesota, Crookston Sunday afternoon in Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference soccer at Morstad Field in Sioux Falls.

Augustana moves to 9-7-0 (6-5-0 NSIC), while UMC falls to 3-12-1 (2-8-1 NSIC).

The Vikings got two goals from Haley Berner in the win.  Jessie Huff, Payton Pry and Leslie Walker all had goals.

The Viking defense pitched its seventh shutout this season.  Amanda Wagner (9-7-1) worked the first half to pick up the win, and Ashley Limmer tended to the goal in the second half, making the only save of the game for Augustana.

Huff opened scoring for the Vikings in the 15th minute when she took a free kick from Kate Timmons and pushed it in.

Berner got into the act next, registering her two goals within the first and second periods.  Her first score came in the 38th minute after she capitalized on her own rebound to beat UMC goalkeeper Drew Underdahl.  Berner's second goal came in the 48th minute off a penalty kick.

Two minutes later, Pry pushed the Viking lead to 4-0 with an unassisted strike from the shallow right side.

In the 84th minute, Walker logged her first goal of the season when she took a pretty pass from Stephanie Stevens and found the back of the net with a floater from the left side.

Augustana finished with 15 shots and nine shots on goal.

The Vikings wrap up regular-season play next weekend at home against Concordia University, St. Paul and St. Cloud State.
