Augustana University Athletics

SIOUX FALLS, S.D. - Augustana had seven wrestlers qualify for the NCAA National Championships at Sunday's Super Regional Three Championship hosted by Augustana in Sioux Falls, S.D. A total of 11 teams competed.

Jay Sherer (141) and Ty Copsey (197) were winners in their weight respective weight classes.

At 125 pounds Al Meger placed second, as did Nate Herda (149 pounds) and Gavin Nelson (165 pounds).

Jason Jeremiason (133 pounds) and Marcus Edgington (157 pounds) both finished third. 

The NCAA Championships are in Kearney, Neb., on March 11 and 12.
