Saturday's tilt at U-Mary will be broadcast by NBC North Dakota Sports and will air on KFYR-TV in Bismarck, KQCD-TV in Dickinson, KUMV-TV in Williston and KMOT-TV in Minot. KFYR-TV sports director Lee Timmerman, a multiple recipient of the North Dakota Sportscaster of the Year honor , will do the play-by-play, while Scott Westerberg, the weekend sports anchor, will offer color commentary.

Last time out: Augustana's home win streak extended to 18-games last weekend with wins over Minnesota State and Southwest Minnesota State. Megan Doyle (Alexandria, S.D.) hit two free-throws with 7.1 seconds left to give Augustana a three-point lead and help her Vikings to a 68-65 victory over MSU Friday evening. The Vikings then picked up a 72-66 win over SMSU Saturday afternoon.

The series: The Vikings faced Northern State on Dec. 11 and topped the Wolves 71-62. Augustana is now 20-13 in the series against NSU with the win earlier this season. The series began during the 1972-73 season, and the Vikings have been victorious in the last five meetings. Dave Krauth is 14-7 against NSU. The Vikings opened up conference home action against U-Mary earlier this season and notched a 76-74 victory. Augustana is 4-2 against the Marauders and all six meetings have been with Krauth as the Vikings' head coach.

On the road again: The Vikings have not performed as well on the road as they have at home this season owning a 3-6 away record. Beginning in December and extending into January, the Vikings were riding a five-game road losing streak before snapping it with a victory over St. Cloud State on Jan. 29.

Slow start: The Vikings shot just 25.8 percent from the field in the opening half against Minnesota State and had a complete turnaround after the break, making 17 of 24 (70.8 percent) from the field. MSU shot just as poorly from the field in the opening half (27 percent) but didn't have as strong of a showing as Augustana in the second half (41.9 percent). Each team also had their moment of weakness in 3-point shooting. Augustana made 1 of 8 3-pointers in the first half of the game, while MSU was just 1 of 6 in the second half.
