MEN'S COMPLETE RESULTS
MINNEAPOLIS – Augustana women's 4X400-meter relay team and Aduo Omot both reached provisional marks Saturday at the Jack Johnson Invite, hosted by the University of Minnesota.
The Viking women scored 14 points at the meet to tie for a seventh place finish, while the men tied for eighth place (16 points). The U of M swept both the women's (190 points) and men's titles (202 points).
Kayla Mescher, Colleen Everson, Katie Tonner and Anne Parsley finished the 4x400-meter relay in 3:55.80 to take seventh place.
Omot logged a time of 1:51.89 in the 800-meter run to place third.
Other notable Viking finishes were Katie Guse in the women's high jump, the men's 4X400-meter relay team and Paul Yak in the 3,000-meter run. Guse leaped to a fourth place finish with a jump of 5 feet, 3.77 inches. Aduo Omot, Skyler Kuil, Brett Anderson and Taylor Olson clocked in at 3:23.30 in the relay to take seventh place. Yak ran 8:37.29 for ninth place.
Augustana competes at the Minnesota State Open next weekend in Mankato, Minn.
