SIOUX FALLS, S.D. - The fifth-ranked Augustana Vikings return to the court after 19 days off and look to stay undefeated on the 2012-13 season. Led by
Dave Krauth in his 24th season, Augustana is 9-0 overall and own a Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference-best record of 5-0.
On Friday, Jan. 4 the Vikings host Minnesota State in at 6 p.m. at the Elmen Center. The Mavericks enter the weekend with a 8-1 overall record and a 4-1 mark in NSIC action which places them one slot behind Augustana.
To cap off the home stand, Concordia-St. Paul enters the Elmen Center for a 4 p.m. game on Saturday, Jan. 5. The Golden Bears are 5-4 on the season with a 3-2 NISC record.
With a pair of wins, the Vikings can match the best start to a season in program history equaling the 1996-97's squad's 11-0 season-opening winning streak.
