ST. PAUL, Minn. - No. 22 Augustana won 14-4 in six innings and 12-10 in eight over Concordia University, St. Paul on Saturday.

Game 1 starter
Ashley Meyer improves to 16-3 for the season after throwing 6.0 innings with six strikeouts.
Concordia-St. Paul struck with three runs on two home runs in the first inning before a rain delay was called, but after approximately 20 minutes, play resumed and Augustana answered back.
In the top of the second
Lindsay Spanton led off with a double down the left line before coming home on
Kelsey Kalkman's two-run home run over the left field fence.
The Vikings added five more runs in the top of the fourth.
Chelsi Winskowski singled down the right side before
Theresa McMahon hit her ninth home run of the season to make it 4-2. The onslaught continued when
Jenny Brown singled in the next at-bat and moved to third on
Jenelle Trautmann's double. Both Brown and Trautmann scored on a wild pitch when Spanton was at the plate. Spanton walked in the same at-bat and pushed the lead to 7-2 on Kalkman's single.
The Vikings scored another three runs in the fifth when McMahon was hit by a pitch to lead off the inning and
Elizabeth Murray and Trautmann each walked to load the bases. Spanton drove
Taylor Kapsch, who replaced McMahon at second base, and Murray in on a single while Kalkman's sacrifice fly scored
Elissa Reinsma, who pinch-ran for Trautmann.
Augustana scored its final runs in the top of the sixth when
Matley Jones reached on an error to lead off the inning before moving around the bases on a sacrifice bunt by Winskowski and singles by McMahon and Brown. Murray hit a three-run blast over the center field wall to put the Vikings up by 12.
In Game 2, McMahon led off the first with a double and scored when Murray hit a single into left field.
Concordia-St. Paul took a 3-1 lead after Erin Tjornhom hit a three-run home run into left center.
In the second inning, Kalkman doubled and moved to third on Winskowski's sacrifice bunt. Kalkman crossed the plate when Jones hit a sacrifice fly to center field.
Concordia pushed the game to 4-2 in the third, but Augustana's offense again took the lead with five runs in top of the fourth.
Winskowski singled with one out before scoring on Jones' sixth home run of the season. McMahon and Brown then singled with two outs before coming home on Murray's second home run of the day.
The Vikings packed on two more runs in the fifth when
Matley Jones hit her second home run of the game--a two-run shot that scored Spanton, who led off the inning with a single.
After a five-run rally in the fifth inning, the Golden Bears regained the lead in the sixth when Bekah Roth singled and Tjornhom scored.
In the top of the seventh, Augustana tied it at 10 as Spanton hit a 0-1 pitch over the left field fence.
Chelsey Durland induced three ground ball outs to hold Concordia-St. Paul scoreless in the bottom of the seventh, allowing the Vikings a chance in extra innings.
Murray reached first base in the eighth inning with a sharp single down the left field line before moving to third on Trautmann's double to left. After Spanton was intentionally walked to set up the double play, Kalkman took the first pitch of her at-bat past the shortstop to push
Erin Kempf, who pinch ran for Murray, across the plate. Trautmann scored the final run of the game after Winskowski singled into right field.
Durland picked up her fourth win of the season after throwing 3.0 innings and allowing only one earned run.
Augustana totaled 33 hits and 26 runs, including seven home runs in the two games.
Murray was a perfect 5 for 5 in Game 2 with four RBIs while Jones added a 2 for 3 performance with five RBIs.
The Vikings are home next week on Tuesday when they take on Chadron State at 2 p.m. and Winona State on Wednesday at 3 p.m.
